The PAADS Legacy Award recognizes a PAADS member with twenty or more years of sustained contributions, characterized by a lasting impact, leadership, advocacy, and mentorship that have mutually benefited the profession and advanced the interests of numerous athletes.
If you wish to nominate an individual, please complete the designated nomination form.
It is imperative that your nomination emphasizes the reasons why the candidate exemplifies at least three of the specified criteria. Kindly include concrete and specific examples demonstrating how your nominee fulfills these criteria, as the selection process will depend entirely on the information provided in the nomination.
LEgacy Award Criteria:
Member of PAADS
Over twenty years of sustained contribution to athlete development
Demonstrates enduring impact, leadership, advocacy for the field, and mentorship
Examples include transformative programs, durable policy or practice changes, and lasting influence within the industry.
The Award recipient will be honored at the PAADS Athlete Development Summit in Charlotte on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026
Completed nomination forms must be submitted by 6 PM Friday, February 26th, 2026. Anyone under the umbrella of a PAADS member’s organization is eligible to be nominated for an award.
The nomination form takes about 10 minutes to complete.
