Marketing Intern

POSITION OVERVIEW

LOCATION: Remote

TYPE OF ROLE: Internship

DURATION: 1 year

We are seeking a creative and proactive Marketing Intern to support PAADS marketing and communication efforts. This role will involve creating content, managing social media, promoting events, and engaging with supporters to increase visibility and strengthen our community presence across various platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Posting content on the PAADS LinkedIn related to the podcast, newsletter, spotlight, summit, etc

  • Reposting LinkedIn content from PAADS members and Global Partners related to testimonials, connections, job postings, etc

  • Identifying athlete development, sports-specific articles, and other related content for the monthly newsletter

  • Coordinating logistics related to in-person city meetups for PAADS membership

  • Create a yearly calendar for all touch points with GP

  • Creating graphics using Canva and other design tools related to PAADS communications and events

  • Marketing for the certificate program

  • Summit- Taking photos and posting on social media/ Daily recaps

Research Intern

POSITION OVERVIEW

LOCATION: Remote

TYPE OF ROLE: Internship

DURATION: 1 year

PAADS is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Intern to support our efforts in identifying and curating research-based articles, content, and insights relevant to holistic athlete development. The intern will play a key role in supporting our communication and thought leadership initiatives, including the quarterly newsletter and the upcoming Research Symposium.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct comprehensive reviews of literature to identify current and relevant research articles, reports, and content related to athlete development, sport psychology, coaching, wellness, and related topics.

  • Curate and organize research findings to support features in the quarterly PAADS newsletter.

  • Collaborate with PAADS team members to select impactful research and content for dissemination.

  • Assist in preparing materials and summaries for the upcoming Research Symposium.

  • Track emerging trends and notable publications in the field of athlete development.

  • Support other research-related projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Evidence of excellent written communication skills is required

  • Applicants should emphasize prior experience with social scientific research (e.g., research methods classes, working in a lab, presenting at conferences, publishing research)

  • Preference will be given to applicants currently working with a research supervisor in a lab or some other research capacity
